Thomas Öst, M.A., L.Ac.

Acupuncture is done with sterile and disposable fine needles about the size of a hair, and is typically a painless experience that results in improved health and promotes a sense of overall well-being. Acupuncture is particularly successful for helping with smoking cessation, stress reduction, pain, anxiety, arthritis, eczema, sports injuries, allergies, depression, asthma, migraines, high blood pressure, fibromyalgia, menstrual disorders, intestinal problems, infertility, lupus, menopause, and urinary incontinence.

Cosmetic Acupuncture
Cosmetic Acupuncture is a safe, painless and effective treatment for rejuvenating the face as well as the whole body. Fine lines may be entirely erased, deeper lines reduced, and bags around the neck and eyes firmed. Fine needles are placed at a variety of acupuncture points on the face, neck, and around the eyes to stimulate the body’s natural energies, or Qi. Since muscle groups are addressed as well the acupuncture points, the face lifts itself, via the acupuncture points, through the muscles’ toning and tightening actions. The needles also stimulate blood and circulation, which improves facial color.
Fertility Acupuncture
Thomas Öst has been very successful using acupuncture with individuals and couples challenged by infertility and other reproductive healthcare issues. If there are things that can be done naturally to improve the "fertility" of any given couple, those natural pathways should be exhausted prior to complicating issues with surgeries and medications.
